 Mud Drag Race

Proof available during the August event!

The vehicle must cross a distance of 250 feet (77 meters) of mud in a corridor 15 feet (4.5 meters) wide and a depth that starts at approximately 6 inches (10 cm) at the start of the competition.

The vehicle starts at the starting line. The vehicle must come out of the hole at the end of the acceleration corridor. The time is calculated by photocell to the hundredth of a second. If the vehicle gets stuck and doesn't move forward after 5 seconds, the pilot immobilizes the vehicle.

The driver must remain inside the vehicle so that it can be removed from the acceleration lane using machinery, at the request of the officials. Each vehicle performs one test in each of the two corridors. The best time is retained for the classment of the competition.

He cannot have a false start because each timing system of the two acceleration corridors is separate;   the time is thus calculated independently.
